IPL 2023: Lucknow Super Giants beat Delhi Capitals by 50 runs at home

IPL 2023: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) have started the IPL 2023 on a winning note. Lucknow trounced Delhi Capitals (DC) by 50 runs on Saturday. LSG set a target of 194 runs at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.

In response, the Delhi team could only score 143 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Captain David Warner scored the most runs from DC. He played an inning of 56 runs in 48 balls with 7 fours.

For Lucknow, fast bowler Mark Wood bowled a killer bowler and Panja Cola. He took four wickets for 14 runs in 4 overs. Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi took two victims each.
